National Institute of design (NID) offers courses in B.Des/M.Des to foreign nationals
National Institute of Design (NID) is internationally acclaimed as one of the finest educational and research institutions for Industrial, Communication, Textile and IT Integrated (Experiential) Design. NID is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India and has been declared as an 'Institution of National Importance' by the National Institute of Design Act, 2014 of Parliament.
NID has been listed by Business Week, USA as one of the top 25 European & Asian design programmes during two consecutive years 2006, 2007. In 2009 NID was credited as the top most institution in the world and in 2014 it ranked in the Top 30 design colleges of the world published by Ranker.
Foreign Nationals (applicants holding citizenship of any country other than the Republic of India) wishing to pursue their full-time studies at the National Institute of Design may apply for the forthcoming Admissions for the Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) /Master of Design (M.Des.) programs offered from NID's campuses in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Gandhinagar.
Admissions are also open for the Graduate Diploma Program in Design (GDPD) offered from the new NID campus in Vijayawada and upcoming NID in Kurukshetra.
